This is a book in Very Good condition in a Good Dust-Jacket. There are no marks or inscriptions. The pages are bright and remain tightly bound. There is some fading to the edges of the front and rear feps. The covers have warped a little. The Dust-Jacket has faded and has a number of closed tears. There is a dedication plate stuck to the front fep to “Captain Bernard C Frost” SIGNED by the Lord Mayor (Ernest Charles O’Dea), dated April 1952. The plate marks the 7th Conference of the International Federation of Air Line Pilots Association. A really interesting book depicting Sydney, Australia in the early 1950’s in many stunning black & white photographs. Approx. 12” x 12”. 1st Edition. The book was produced by Oswald L Ziegler with layouts and design by Gert Sellheim and editorial by Eve Keane. The photography is by Max Dupain, Hal Missingham and photographers of Associated Newspapers Ltd., Sydney.
