1952. Very Good condition book in a Good+ DJ. There are no makes or inscriptions. The pages are bright and remain tightly bound. There is some fading to the edges of the front and rear feps. The boards have warped. The DJ has faded and has a number of closed tears. There is a dedication plate stuck to the front fep to “Captain Bernard C Frost” SIGNED by the Lord Mayor (Ernest Charles O’Dea), dated April 1952. The plate marks the 7th Conference of the International Federation of Air Line Pilots Association. A really interesting book depicting Sydney, Australia in the early 1950s in many stunning black & white photographs. Approx. 12” x 12”. 1st Edition. |
